OMA launches ‘queer peers’ online chat program

The new program is coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Columbia’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and currently has 10 student advisers staffing an online chat three nights each week.

The Columbia Cares Forum was organized in response to the recent suicides of six young men across the country who had been repeatedly harassed about their sexual orientation.
