Reading and Complaining Go Hand in Hand With Heavy Syllabi

Though many come to Columbia to hit the books, by the time midterms roll around, a number are ready to hit their heads against a wall.

Requiring professors to post their syllabi online prior to the start of classes is a quick and simple way to address student concerns over a myriad of issues, including the effectiveness of preregistration, the cost of books, and the difficulty of transferring credit.
